Haha yeah? I'm not sure how easy it is to define a pile of stock-standard 'cookie-cutter' syntax... considering I'm thinking it's easier to just write it by hand.

Ironically enough, I saw a Google Ad generated on this page that was advertising a PC desktop version of a regex query generator, that looked quite promising: http://www.regextools.com/

Yeah, I have to go to Google a lot still too. The absolute best site I know is http://www.regular-expressions.info/. And after that, I've had to resort to asking regex questions on http://www.experts-exchange.com/ before as well.

One thing I wished all regex testers/builders had was a easy to use interface to create regex expressions.

Regex is like a programming language in it's own. What I think would be sweet is something that builds what you need!

I always resort to google searching what I need but that takes a while and dosnt always produce good results
